Cookie Time![edit]
You have been given a cookie! Thanks for your dedication to the site; your recent contributions to the Oblivion Daedric shrine pages concisely added useful information and color. Nice work! —Mikeprichard (talk) 14:37, 21 April 2024 (UTC) |
- Thanks Mike, and I approve of your tweaks. If you're up for it, I noticed that some other settlement pages like inns have the level 3 heading for People. That's where I was copying from, but I agree that level 2 looks better.
- To expand the shrine pages a bit more, I believe their scope can briefly mention the offering required, if any, for the related quest, plus a brief description of the area: plants, benches, books, etc. I wasn't in game, so didn't add those.
- Again, thanks for keeping a close eye on your watchlist; it's impressive. —Dillonn241 (talk) 15:42, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

- Impressive, compulsive - whatever works, lol. And good tips - I'll go through the shrines now both in-game and in the CS to confirm any required offerings (which I'll add to the existing sentences on launching the quests to keep the text concise/logical) and furniture/miscellaneous items in the area. Personally, I don't find detailed listings of common plants to be terribly useful - complicated by arbitrary distinctions between those in a shrine's cell vs. those "nearby" when the shrine is on the edge of a cell, etc. - though I fully agree with your addition of a couple Nirnroots not covered on other nearby location pages given those plants' unique/non-respawning qualities. As to the inn pages, so far I've been focusing on the few "wilderness" inns with their own map markers rather than inns within settlements, but good catch; I can put the "People" formatting adjustment for those pages on my to-do list if someone doesn't beat me to it.

- I often pick up interesting bits of info by scanning not only my watchlist, but also edits to all Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim location and quest pages and general lore articles, so I appreciate the many opportunities to learn this wiki and its authors offer. Cheers! —Mikeprichard (talk) 16:47, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
