Sergeant Dagla

Sergeant Dagla is a Khajiiti member of the Fists of Thalmor found at the campsite in northeast Wilding Run. She can also be seen accompanying the current Silvenar to the city of Silvenar.

Approaching her:

"Hold friend, I would warn you…"

If you start the quest directly from her:

"Stay wary, traveler. Unnatural creatures stalk these woods.
We paid the price for our ignorance. Learn from our mistakes."

Creatures?

"Stinking husks, clutching like roots for the unwary. Phantoms!
When they attacked, it was all I could do to rally the men and retreat! Thankfully the monsters do not leave the forest."

Did anyone else make it out?

"Perhaps. We got scattered in the fray. Captain Trelano and half the squad are missing.
I sent a scout to look for them, but she hasn't reported back. I hate to ask, but if you're going in there…."

I'll look for them.

After accepting the quest from her, asking further questions:

"Tread lightly Whatever attacked us is still around."

Why did you come here? / What brought you here?

"Just delivering supplies! A survey team works in the ruins. We keep them fed, carry correspondence, and make sure they're all right.
This is the first time anything bad's happened. Probably the last, too."

What attacked you?

"Corpses. Tough as iron. A shade followed them. We couldn't get a good look at it.
I've heard stories about the undead, but I never thought I'd live one. We were trained to fight men, not what's left when they die!"

Survey team? / What were they doing here?

"Old bones and a bunch of rocks to me. If you'd asked anyone here, you'd think they'd discovered Falinesti.
If they found something, it's probably best forgotten."

Do you think they're still alive?

"Not if they got hit by the same creatures. I suppose there's no way to know for sure. Not without going in there.
If you find them, tell them to keep their heads down. Maybe whatever they woke up will go back to sleep."

If you've already started the quest from Nilaendril, she will say:

"Another victim of the forest? Or have you been spared its horrors?"

Nilaendril asked me to find you.

"Nilaendril's alive? If she [sic] made it, there's hope for the Captain, and all the rest!"

Who else is missing?

"We scattered like chickens when the creatures attacked. All of our training, gone…fear is a funny thing, yes? Even the Captain panicked."

Do you think he's still alive?

"Possibly. He's a great bear of a man. If anyone survived, it'd be him.
I sent a scout to search for survivors. She hasn't reported back."

I'll keep an eye out for her.

"The sentiment is appreciated, but if you go in there, best take care of your own hide. Only Baan Dar knows what else is in there."

Speaking to her after you spoke to Corporal Brelinith:

"Ah! Thank Alkosh you found her! We've lost enough soldiers today without adding our best scout to their ranks.
With luck, the two of you will find more, yes?"

If you speak to her after the quest is finished, she will be tending to Yvondir's wounds and say:

"Seems we've you to thank for Captain Trelano and the lieutenant's return.
Jone and Jode shall dance with you, wherever you may roam!"

She is found on the road located north of Silvenar and will be identified as Dagla. Before speaking to the Silvenar, she'll only say:

Inside the Audience Hall after defeating The Hound, she'll say:

"This will be a celebration to remember!"
