Potions are necessary and vital items for survival in Daggerfall. Sometimes, potions can be taken from fallen enemies or found as loot. However, they are most readily available for purchase from one of many Temples of the Iliac Bay or from the Dark Brotherhood. You can also make these potions yourself, with the help of a Potion Maker at a Temple or with the Dark Brotherhood. Unlike subsequent Elder Scrolls games, alchemists do not sell potions nor will they buy them.

Below is a list of all available potions, and the ingredients needed to create them. Their effects are not listed.

Note: in Daggerfall Unity, all potions with a "chance" component will set it at 100%, making it impossible for a potion to fail.
