Blades:Controls

This page documents the controls available while playing Blades and their default settings on each platform. You can enable and disable certain control settings.

General
Look/Turn	Swipe (Swipe-To-Look enabled)				The vertical and horizontal axes can be inverted independently in the settings. At least one mode must be enabled at any given time.
	Right Joystick (Right Joystick Enabled)
Move	Tap (Tap-To-Move enabled)				At least one mode must be enabled at any given time. Tap-To-Move may also turn your character to face the destination.
	Left Joystick (Left Joystick Enabled)
Interact	Tap				Used to talk with NPCs, eat food, collect chests and items, destroy breakables, and open doors. Will also move your character to the target, whether Tap-To-Move is enabled or not

Attack Left	Tap, Hold, Release (Left half of the screen)			Hold , Release	Weapon strike location can be adjusted with .
	Swipe (From left half of the screen to right)			Hold , Release, swing Left Joy-Con (Motion Combat Controls enabled)
Attack Right	Tap, Hold, Release (Right half of the screen)			Hold , Release

				Swing Joy-Con Down (Left/right Joy-Con) (Motion Combat Controls enabled)

Use Ability	Tap Ability Icon (Above Stamina bar)			, ,
Cast Spell	Tap Spell Icon (Above Magicka bar)			, ,
Use Main Potion	Tap Potion Icon	Above Health Bar, centered			Button appears to use Restore Health Potion when Health is critical at up to 30% of your max health. Can display relevant potion or poison during an event.
Use Stamina Potion	Tap Stamina Potion Icon	Above Health Bar, to the right	Above Spells		Button appears to use Restore Stamina Potion when Stamina is critical
Use Magicka Potion	Tap Magicka Potion Icon	Above Health Bar, to the left	Above Abilities		Button appears to use Restore Magicka Potion when Magicka is critical
Open Potions Menu	Tap Health Bar
