Arena's soundtrack was created by Eric Heberling. There are differences between the floppy disk versions 1.0-1.06 and the CD version 1.07 of the game, most notably the daytime town music tracks.

Background music that plays in-game depends on location, weather, season and, as mentioned, the game version.
